Mid-market FX comes from the European Central Bank's daily reference rates (2026-04-28). Provider margins are observed averages from each provider's own public price calculator sampled across multiple corridors and times of day; treat them as the practitioner ballpark, not a real-time quote. We assume bank- funded online transfers (the cheapest funding method everywhere we compared); debit/credit-card funding adds 1–3% on top.
We rank by recipient amount, the only metric that matters end-to- end. Providers that don't service a corridor or fall below their minimum send appear greyed out. Western Union's walk-in cash price is materially worse than the online price we model; the in-store option is only worth using when the recipient specifically needs to collect cash.
